GRUPO CIMCORP’s CEO leads a group of investors and acquires control of GETRONICS global operations, including CONNECTIS, its brand for Latin America and Brazil

São Paulo, July 6th 2017 – GRUPO CIMCORP, under the leadership of its CEO Nana Baffour, along with a group of investors, announced the acquisition of GETRONICS’ global operations, including CONNECTIS, its brand for Latin America and Brazil. The deal was advised by investment bank Raymond James, legal counsel from CMS – Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP, Lang Business Law, Demarest Advogados and Nautah Dutilh, and financed by prestigious investors and partners, such as White Oak Global Advisors, Permira PDM, H.I.G. WhiteHorse, Investec PLC and strategic investor Servest Limited.

Nana Baffour, now Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of GETRONICS, will lead a company of over 4,500 employees, 3,000 customers and an annual revenue of over €500 million in 2016, with offices in Germany, Argentina, Belgium,  Brazil, Chile, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Philippines, France, Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, India, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Portugal, UK, Taiwan and Thailand, and reach over 100 countries in a coordinated and standardized service delivery pattern through its GWA network – Global Workspace Alliance, with 11 international partners.

GETRONICS is one of the global leaders in the ICT business, providing solutions for Workspace Management, Managed Cloud, UC&C, Network and Applications and its acquisition strengthens the value creation proposal of GRUPO CIMCORP and provides new opportunities through joint operations in Brazil and Latin America, increasing its global footprint.

GRUPO CIMCORP and GETRONICS/CONNECTIS will operate under independent operations and management, but the synergy between the companies will allow market exploration with strategic solutions aligned with global tendencies.
